Located on Island Park in the City of Portage la Prairie, the Manitoba Hydro Power Smart Island of Lights, presented by A-Channel is an impressive national award winning drive-through holiday light show that has attracted attention in the entire province of Manitoba. From the comfort of your vehicle, you can watch many of the dazzling light displays come to life through the magic of animation. The show features many theme areas and more than 500 light displays. This is a must see destination! Over 120,000 people have witnessed the show first-hand! There are over 130,000 bulbs. You have to see it to believe it!

This new recreation facility features: two giant water slides, a double-wide kiddie slide, aesthetic fountains and mini geysers, an interactive spray area, a "lazy river", green grass areas, a relaxing, therapeutic "bubbler" bench situated along side a miniature water fall, three 25-meter swimming lanes, decorative non-slip decking, and a zero depth beach-like entry! "Splash Island" offers a unique and fun aquatic experience, which residents and visitors alike will remember and want to return to.
